Zodiac SUPER SEA WOLF [juicy]

Here are a couple of new beauties from Zodiac.

Actually, we should be looking at a trio but for a two-tone steel and gold variant which is a little late to the party – stay tuned for that one, coming soon.

BTW there’s pic of Zodiac brand ambassador, Andy Mann AKA the Aqua Mann wearing one down the bottom of this post. That would be my pic of the three, hands down.

Zodiac have become one of the Swiss brands to watch out for with a slew of new heritage inspired models from the 50s and 60s.

I am still waiting for them to re-release the Super Seawolf 100 ATM, but that’s another STORY.

These new Super Sea Wolfs boast some very brightly colored bezels. We have white with the contrasting orange markers of ZO9270.

Then there’s ZO9269 with what can only be described as melon-esque style with an almost mint colored bezel surrounding an orange chapter ring. Very fruity!

The watches feature 40 mm x 49 mm x 13mm Stainless steel cases with unidirectional mineral crystal inlays and screw-down case-backs and crowns. Water-resistance is 200 meters.

Their dials are in either orange and silver sunray or orange and matte white with C3 SuperLuminova hands and markers.

Protecting the dial is a Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Power comes from a Swiss STP 3-13 automatic movement.

The watches are presented on a Stainless-steel 5-link bracelet ZO9269 which has an MSRP of 1395USD or blue rubber ZO9270 1095USD.

Thoughts? Funky colors that should have been released for the summer months; these are a little late coming.

Colors don’t do it for me; mineral crystal bezels don’t do it for me either. But the Two-tone looks very promising. What do you think?
