So what improvements have been made to the Vanuatu?
BEZEL It has a brand new ratcheting bezel mechanism that allows far smoother and firmer action without any play.
LUME The Vanuatu now as filled rather than solid hands with SuperLumiNova that has been used for significantly brighter glowing bezel, hands an dial.
BACK The caseback now has cleaner stamping and engraving and is sealed with a high-quality DuPont Viton gasket.
CROWN This has new higher profile ridges that allow for a far better grip.
BRACELET Single sided screw pins have now been used on the bracelet. Larger 2mm diameter spring bars have also been used for more solid attachment.
SPEC 45mm 316L Stainless steel, screwdown crown and back, Sapphire crystal with AR, 120-click bezel with a Stainless steel insert with 5-min dive-time scale in white lume and a water-resistance to 300 meters - tested in accordance to ISO 6425.
The Vanuatu includes a Stainless steel bracelet with a folding divers clasp and a nylon strap with a choice of strap color and hardware finish.
POWER Seiko Instruments NH35 automatic mechanical movement with hacking seconds, manual winding,
24 jewels, a beat-rate of 21,600 per hour, an accuracy: -25 ~ +35 seconds/day and a power-reserve of 40hrs.
