A special price of 1800USD is ONLY available during the one-week flash sale, then it’s back up to its regular price of 4000USD.

I think the pictures can do all the talking; safe to say this is a bloody nice looking watch. Premium German goodness packaged in an exotic Mokume Gane case that can trace its origins right back to 17th-century Feudal Japan and powered by a Swiss custom made, manual winding movement.

Check out those layers of golden-copper and steel - I think I might need a box of tissues! Then there’s the sunburst sandwich dial available in black or bronze.

And that custom movement I was talking about – a hand-cranked UNITAS 6497 with a beat rate of 18.000 vibrations per hour. The whole movement is black coated in Switzerland and finished with round Geneva stripes.

The 6497 can be gazed upon through a Sapphire crystal caseback. Notice also the interchangeable bezel which is available with a number of engraved marker styles and the crown –

these are also made from Mokume Gane. The quality is of such that it can even be used for the caseback.

Dimensions of the watch are as follows: the case measures 44mm by 10.3mm thick with a lug-to-lug length of 52.1mm and a lug-width of 22mm.

Divers features include: well this isn’t really a diver, but it does have a unidirectional bezel, a Sapphire crystal and strong glowing Swiss BGW9 has been used for the hands and markers.

The H2O Hydra Mokume Gane can be ordered directly from H2O HERE – additional bezel can be found HERE
