Here’s a pre-Basel look at the new Aquaracer Calibre 16 Automatic Chronograph developed by TAG Heuer to meet the extreme requirements of professional waterspouts!
Its 43mm case is in fine-brushed and polished steel. It is fitted with a unidirectional divers bezel in steel with an engraved timing scale, an SLN dot at 12 o’clock and large polished chamfer.
Further divers features inc. an anti-reflective scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal, a polished steel screwdown crown, polished steel chrono-pushers, a fine-brushed screwdown caseback with diving bell engraving and a steel bracelet with an H-shape folding clasp with safety push-buttons and diving extension.
The dial comes in either Black Ref. CAY2110.BA0925or Sunray Blue Ref. CAY2112.BA0925. Features inc. luminescent filled hand-applied polished and faceted markers and hands, polished counters’ hands, polished central chronograph second hand with colored tip
The dial display includes: hours, minutes, sub-seconds at 9 o'clock, a chronograph counter, hours and minutes, a central seconds counter and a
date window in either black or white.
The watch is powered by a TAG Heuer Calibre 16 automatic movement with 25 jewels and rapid date correction. It has a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and a power reserve of around 42 hours. It has Côtes de Genève decorated rotor engraved "TAG Heuer — Calibre 16 — Swiss Made" rotor.
