FLORIJN 1,2 and 3, NEW Dutch DIVERs collection

By TLex Introducing - FLORIJN a new Dutch watch brand that introduced its first dive watch in 2014. The FLORIJN brand was started by Dutchman, Hans Heuvelman a passionate lover of watches, who has finally taken the bold step of producing his own watches.



Inspired by Dutch Design, which is described as ‘simple and powerful’, without being simplistic, FLORIJN set out to create a no-frills timepiece, but with clean lines and excellent functionality, and so a comfortable, affordable and reliable dive watch was born!



High quality materials such as 316L Stainless steel and Sapphire crystal (with double anti-reflective coating) were chosen along with a reliable and durable automatic mechanical movement, the Seiko NH35 with date and hacking seconds.



The FLORIJN’s 45mm x 14.1 (53mm L2L) is fitted with specially engraved solid steel rotating divers bezel. The 120-click bezel sports both dive-time scale and dual-time zone markers; which makes for a rather quirky but nevertheless interesting and somewhat technical look.



FLORIJN founder, Hans travels a lot, passing through multiple times zones, so wanted a watch that could not only go diving, but could also travel with him.



Since 3 hand GMT movements are not really available its price point, he found that the functionality of dual bezel markings to be the best solution.



The FLORIJN collection consists of: 3 different models, named FLORIJN 1, 2 and 3. You can decide on the model yourself by choosing from: a black (DLC Coating) or steel case; a black or steel divers bezel.



Further divers features of the FLORIJN include: 300 meters (30 ATM) of water-resistance, a signed and screwdown crown with logo and Luminova filled 3D hour markers and hands.



The FLORIJN is produced in a limited series of 100 pieces of each model. Each of them goes through a quality assurance process before it is shipped out to a customer along with its 2 year guarantee.



It is delivered in a luxury box and with a 2 year warranty, 3 straps – a 24mm rubber divers strap, a leather strap and black and red NATO strap as well as a tool for changing them.



Pricing is as follows: 395 euro (incl. VAT) for EU customers or 326 euro for Non EU customers.
