Military-inspired fashion has become a timeless style that has invaded and occupied the wardrobes of modern men. It is a mainstay, a style staple for those of us with an appreciation of a more rugged, utilitarian aesthetic. And just as true of watch trends as it of clothing, military chic is the epitome of this. And by the way that’s chic as in chiqué, the French word for stylish, which DB’s latest offering clearly is but it’s so much more than just a pretty face. With a tough lightweight case made from polycarbonate and weighing a mere three ounces, it has been designed to stand up to whatever situation it might find itself. Be that on the battlefield, below the waves, chilling by the pool or simply accompanied by the cuff of a stylish sweater on a chilly autumn evening. But as is the case with all of DB’s timepieces, it’s when the lights are off that this watch truly comes into its own with the use of T100 Tritium tubes for its markers and hands, a total 17. Powering the DAYNIGHT STEALTH OPS CARBON is a reliable automatic mechanical movement from SEIKO, the ubiquitous workhorse NH 35 with date. The NH 35 is safely housed within the watch’s 44mm carbon case which is water-resistant to 300 meters and comes with a screw-down crown and a tough, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

The new DAYNIGHT STEALTH OPS CARBON model is available now from DEEP BLUE Watches. Please follow the link for more on this and other DB diver’s models.
