DEEP BLUE Master Chrono 7750 Auto DIVER 15th Anniversary EDITION

Deep Blue Watches are celebrating their fifteenth year of being purveyors of diver’s watches; they are brand based out of New York, US and are one of the few brands that is wholly focused on diver’s watches which means that they know a thing or two about them. In celebration of a decade and a half of being in the business they will be introducing (assume they’ll be other models) some special and limited edition models such as this rugged beauty, the Master Chrono. By the way did you know that if you’ve been with your better half for 15 years – she needs to buy you a watch as an anniversary gift - a handy fact for any of you chaps staring down the barrel of a 15 year marriage! Talking of marriage, check out the harmonious looking dial that this watch offers particularly in the white variant with its panda-style dial and that lovely blue dial text contrasted against a matte white background – a heavenly pairing. And at the heart of this watch is Swiss automatic movement, the well-known, Valjoux 7750 with its 25 jewels and beat-rate of 28,880vph which offers a chronograph function in addition to a day/date. The 7750 is housed in a 1’000 meters water-resistant 316L Stainless steel case which measures 45mm in diameter with a 17mm thickness, 22mm lugs width and a lug-to-lug measurement of 54mm.
Diver’s features include: screw-down crown, case-back and chrono-pushers in addition to a helium valve (9H), an AR-treated 4mm-thick Sapphire crystal and 120-click unidirectional diver’s bezel.
The bezel boasts a scratch-resistant ceramic inlay with blue glowing BGW9 SuperLuminova and more SLN can be found on the hands, dial and sub-dials. The hands btw are offered in black or blue. Finally the watch comes on a full Stainless stele diver’s bracelet with a push-button deploying clasp with safety, full links, half Links and screwed links.
