DEEP BLUE Watches Alpha Marine 500 FULL LUME [tasty new colors]

Step into a dazzling world of color and light with the Deep Blue’s latest release, the ultimate party diver! DB combines a torch-like full lume dial, rendered in one of ten contemporary new colors that would not look out of place in a candy store – (which is where you’ll be transported when you gaze upon the FULL COLLECTION) – with the nostalgic lines and cues of their Alpha Marine 500 diver. With its vintage case design, featuring an unguarded winding crown and a dial sporting an old school handset with; harpoon hour, sword minute and arrow second hands as well as the Alpha Marine name printed in script, the watch recalls a bygone era. However it is the Alpha Marine 500’s oldie world charms that invite a number of modern diver’s features and contemporary design elements into play creating a successful melding of two the worlds. Modern diver’s features such as the watch’s ceramic diver’s bezel with lumed dive-time scale, the automatic Helium Escape Valve found at the 9H position on the side of the case and the tough AR-treated sapphire crystal which protects the watch’s party piece – its full lume dial presented in a tasty color pallet that includes colors such as ‘cherry red’ and ‘mango’! The watch’s brushed Stainless case measures 44mm in diameter with a height of 52 mm and a thickness of just 15mm. It is of course water-resistant to 500m. Powering the new colorful new Alpha Marine 500 Full Lume watch is a Citizen Japan made Miyota 9015 automatic caliber (with date), well-known, movement often compared to ETA’s 2824.

The watch comes on several strap choices which include rubber or a Stainless steel bracelet with tension pins and a push button deployant, diver’s safety clasp.

The watch is currently being OFFERED with healthy discount on all variants.

Thoughts? DB knows exactly how to bring the color.

Question is of the ten which of the ten would you go for? Being a man of simple tastes, I prefer the more subdued tones of the Hunter Blue variant – very nice. But how about you?
