BREITLING Superocean 42 YELLOW MINS.

Breitling is offering their Superocean 42 Automatic with a yellow minute-track as an online exclusive and it’s about time!

The last time Breitling decided to update their dedicated diver’s model, the Superocean (whose bloodline dates back as far as 1957) with –

a sporty yellow chapter ring was back in 2010 when the Superocean was relaunched after its biggest update in years – but to be honest it was a bit of a failure.

Despite having 1’500 meters of water-resistance, the watch lacked a proper diver’s bezel with a graduated dive-time scale and there was no lume on its 12hr marker, either. Breitling has since gotten their sh!t together and the current Superocean and its many iterations is a worthy successors to the OG model bearing the same name from the middle of the last century. Sporty, fresh and colorful, this special Superocean Automatic 42 features a simple black dial with said contrasting yellow minute scale. The online exclusive features a sturdy 42mm Stainless steel case and black dial with a colorful minute scale. Paired to a black rubber strap that fits a Stainless steel pin buckle, this fresh and sporty Superocean Automatic 42 is water-resistant up to to a respectable 500m or 50 bar.

Power comes from a Breitling 17 self-winding mechanical movement with 25 jewel, power-reserve of approx. 38 hrs and a beat-rate of 28,800 v.p.h.

MSRP in the UK is £2,840 Incl. VAT.
