ARCHIMÈDES by Milus ORANGE CORAL

This new orange-faced, Limited Edition compressor-style diver is actually green!

There are just 50 pieces available of the Limited Edition Archimèdes by Milus Orange Coral and what’s more I think there might even be some availability.

The watch joins an existing family of four models which include: Wild Green, Silver Storm, Deep Blue and Gravel Black – all based on the vintage Archimèdes Super-Compressor from 1970. With its striking Orange Coral dial, the watch amps up the 70s retro vibes; however with a Helium Escape Valve; found on the case-side a 9 o’clock it’s also pretty modern.

In addition to its discreet HEV, the watch is also fitted with a bi-directional internal diver’s bezel – operable via the crown at 2 o’clock.

The three hour digits at the cardinal points, 3 o’clock date window, and iconic “Broad Arrow” hands coated in SuperLuminova combine offering excellent readability.

Meanwhile its Swiss ETA 2892 movement is housed within a 41mm Stainless steel case, water-resistant up to 30 ATM or 300 meters. The Archimèdes Orange Coral is offered with two easily interchangeable strap options, a smooth 316L brushed Stainless steel Milanese shark-mesh bracelet or a genuine black Tropic rubber diver’s strap. In line with their beliefs in environmental protection, Milus has partnered with the French NGO Coral Guardian. For every Archimèdes Orange Coral bought, Milus will adopt a coral in your own name.

The Coral Guardian team will transplant your coral onto a solid structure in an area where reefs were damaged. This action contributes to the coral reefs restoration.

You will receive a personalized adoption certificate with a symbolic photograph, the name of your coral, and its GPS location. MSRP is 2’119CHF.

  1. Un bonito reloj que sin embargo adolece de un defecto de operatividad bajo el mar: su bisel interno se debe ajustar solo en seco en superficie. Su corona de rosca no permite su reajuste bajo el agua.
