This should be called the Diver Chronometer Titanium Blue Gold because I’m sure it hasn’t escaped anyone’s attention but there’s a fair amount of 18k rose gold that has been lavished on this tasty new diver from UN.
While its case which measures 44mm in diameter with a water-resistance of 300m, is executed in high-grade Titanium with a special blue PVD coating, its screw-down winding crown, bezel as well as several dial elements have all been crafted from 18k rose gold.
Special features of the watch include: Ulysse Nardin’s signature nameplate (also in 18k RG) with the timepiece’s individual number on the left lateral case-side.
Focusing on the dial – this has been realized in a lovely blue with a granulated effect with all dial elements such hands and indexes picked out in 18k RG.
In addition the Diver Chronometer has an inverted, concave bezel with golden dive-time scale as well as a domed Sapphire crystal. While its dial with its oversized 6 o’clock sub-dial hints at the mechanical marvel beneath, the COSC-certified chronometer by UN-118 movement with its silicium technology that includes an Si balance spring.
Meanwhile the Diver Chronometer 44mm Titanium Blue is presented on a sumptuous blue rubber diver’s strap with yet another UN signature element in Titanium (with gold lettering) as well as a Titanium pin buckle.MSRP for this beauty is 13’300USD which includes an extended 5yrs warranty.Thoughts? If you tell me this isn’t an attractive looking watch you’re lying – if you tell it’s no tool diver and that the all the external RG elements will likely look like sh!t after a few years you’d probably be right. But what do you think – this or Glashütte Original SeaQ BICOLOR?

Decididamente me quedo con este. Un Nardin con silicio no admite comparación. Con permiso del Glashutte
