Just in case you missed out or think you might not be getting one of the 5,500 pieces of the SBDC107 / SPB149, here’re two more neo-62MAS options.
Like the refs. above these new models are modern versions of Seiko’s OG diver, the 62MAS from 1965.
Sorry, I only have the JP refs. at the moment but any Seiko AD worth his salt will be able to help you track down the correct ref for your neck of the woods, once they are out.
SBDC101 gets a lovely silver charcoal dial with white hands and markers while SBDC103 has a dusky copper brown dial with beige lume and SBDC105 has what looks like a vintage black dial with sexy gold accents.
All three refs. get Stainless steel cases with Seiko’s DiaShield hardening treatment, domed Sapphire crystal and 200 meters of water-resistance.
Dimensions are as follows: H47.6mm × W40.5mm × D13.15mm.
Power comes from a 24 jewel, Seiko 6R35 automatic caliber with an accuracy of +25 to -15 seconds per day.
The two models with bracelets have a Japanese MSRP of 130,000 JPY+TAX while the delightful SBDC105 is a little cheaper thanks to its rubber band at 110,000 JPY+TAX.
