RADO Captain Cook 42MM GREEN [EasyClip]

Green is definitely the new black or at least we could say that it is at the very least the new blue because in the past 12 months or so we have seen it slowly replacing deep blue as the go to color in the diver segment.

Evocative of everything from the kelp forests to the grassy foothills, the rain soaked jungles and supposedly even the sky before a tornado.

It’s a dial color that we cannot ignore; eventually we will crack and if we do, Rado has a fine example in the new Captain Cook 42mm –

which comes in just about the most perfect deep tone. The glossy green appears on the dial and the ceramic bezel.

This 42mm variant is powered by the ETA C07 automatic movement with up to 80 hours of power reserve. It is water-resistant to 300m.

The watch also comes with Rado’s new EasyClip system that allows you to change from a 3-link Stainless steel bracelet to a BOR bracelet or any leather or NATO strap without the use of tools.

MSRP is 2000USD.
