Here’s an affordable offering from Dan Henry – the 1970 Automatic Diver collection is back with 5 models starting from just 270USD!
There are 5 models in the collection: 4x 40mm and a 44mm model. All models come with 316L Stainless cases which are water-resistant to 200 meters.
There are five distinct looks to choose from with one of the 40mm models coming with a black PVD finish while the rest are brushed.
The watches have an appealing 70s compressor design with: dual cross-hatched screwed crowns, Sapphire coated double domed mineral glass with anti-reflective treatment –
and a Scaphtopus 3D medal screw-down case-backs. The dials are will applied indexes with LumiNova as well as inner rotating diver’s bezels.
Power comes from an automatic Seiko Caliber NH35 with 24 jewels and 41-hours of power-reserve.
The 1970s Diver Autos are presented on black vintage Tropic-style diver’s straps. They come in vintage style leather roll cases.
Thoughts? A lovely looking collection of affordable compressor divers – my pick would be the 44mm. How about?
