ASTOR + BANKS Sea Ranger

Astor & Banks - sounds like an upscale British brand but actually Astor + Banks are based in Chicago; home of Al Capone, Barrack Obama, Michael Jordan and deep pan pizza.



This is their debut diver’s model, the Sea Ranger which is currently available for pre-order from their website.

The family of 4x Sea Rangers includes: classic black, blue, Polar Edition and black-coated S variants.



Basic spec. includes: a 40mm 316L Steel case with: domed Sapphire crystal, 300m, 12hr fully-lumed Sapphire GMT bezel and a Swiss made Sellilta SW200 auto.



The dial of the Sea Ranger is with applied markers with hands and markers with blue-glowing BGW9 SLN.



It has what can only be described as a “’BIG F#CK OFF” seconds hands – a colloquialism in my hometown of London for being, really rather large ;)



The Astor + Banks Sea Ranger has a special pre-order price of 650USD. Thoughts? Quite a nice first offering from this small US brand.

But I have no idea where it was made or assembled? American made and assembled certainly has much appeal in this current political climate – nuff said!
