First of all it was commissioned by the guys at HODINKEE, purist vintage watch nerds that they are they have soberly yet tastefully tweaked the Divers Sixty-Five in such a way that it outshines all LEs!
It gets a slimmer 40mm case, a hand-wound movement, a no-date soft black dial, a faded grey bezel, and a tapered rivet-style steel bracelet.

The Divers Sixty Five HODINKEE has been produced in a Limited Edition of just 250 individually numbered pieces. Thoughts?
While I’m not a huge fan of hand-cranked movements, in this instance the inclusion of a special version of Oris’ caliber 730 (Sellita 210-1 base) further adds to the vintage charm and appeal of the Divers Sixty-Five.

All are currently SOLD OUT however there is a waiting list for more. Plus HODINKEE have an upcoming BLANCPAIN Diver colab’ coming out any day now.

For those who have a passion for timepieces, Coveted offers an exceptional experience. Their in-depth analysis of hublot watches explores their striking aesthetics. The segment on dive watches proved valuable for anyone interested in water-resistant models. The thorough examination of cartier roadster highlighted its unique charm. Furthermore, I appreciated their perspectives on rolex oyster perpetual, which were especially enlightening.
