There’s no escaping the popularity of the Divers Sixty-Five, the watch has seen more iterations than there are colors in a bag of Skittles.
We’ve seen special editions produced and created for worthy causes such as MOVEMBER or CLEANUP, editions created for Formosan VIOLINists and watch groups such as REDBAR.
Here’s another special edition with a warmer and sweeter sensibility than usual, created for Singapore’s, The Rake and REVOLUTION online publications.
A Limited Edition of 250 pieces, the Oris Divers Sixty-Five Honey has been designed to be a truly tropical dive watch with its dial elegantly aged by the sun.
The Oris Divers Sixty-Five Honey takes its name from glistening of the sunrise and bronze sun kissed skin; perhaps of the nubile honey seen modeling the watch, below.
Set against a gradated brown dial, the indices and hands are coated in SuperLumiNova and framed in rose gold for a more typical vintage feel.
The no-date watch is powered by an Oris caliber 733, based on the Sellita SW 200-1, with autonomy of 38-hours.
Housed in Stainless steel with a diameter of 40mm, the case is framed by a bronze rotational diver’s bezel with a black aluminum inlay with a legible 60-minute timer and zero marker.
Engraved on the screwed Stainless steel case-back, each numbered edition is marked along with the words "Oris x Revolution Limited Edition".
Delivered in a special presentation box, the watch comes on a brown aged leather strap along with three additional NATO straps.
I believe there are still some pieces available; please follow the link HERE to order the ORIS Divers Sixty-Five Honey from REVOLUTION.
Thoughts? This is not your typical color pallet, but it works so well particularly when paired with the black NATO with its orange pinstripes.
The watch exudes a warm glow, but do we really need another Diver Sixty-Five? I guess we do ;)
