From the Crafter Blue team is a new affordable vintage inspired dive watch brand offering a true taste of the 60s with strong focus on the world of scuba diving.
Their good-looking debut model is the Hydromatic Diver 200m from the new vintage diver label, ALFA FLAG.
For the non-scuba divers among us, a diver down flag, or scuba flag, is a warning flag flown at the surface of the water to indicate that there is a diver below.
Two types of flag are currently in use. Internationally, the code flag alfa/alpha, which is white and blue while the more commonly seen flag is red with a diagonal white stripe running through it.
These two flags combine to create ALFA FLAG Watches new brand logo which can be seen as a recurring theme throughout the Hydromatic’s design.
This retro diver is sized at 42.5mm with a fully brushed case and a doubled domed scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal. It has 200m of water-resistance.
A special feature on the dial is an iconic Alfa Flag index marked at the 12 o’clock position. The dial BTW is available with 4 looks.
Each Hydromatic Diver 200m is equipped with a brushed classic shark-mesh bracelet, made of 316L Stainless steel where once again the ALFA FAG logo can be seen.
Powering this watch is a well-known Seiko NH35 automatic movement which is reputed to be one of the most reliable and durable autos at its price-point.
Speaking of price, the Hydromatic Diver 200m has a list price of 350USD but is currently on offer for just 280USD.
