To mark the occasion Doxa have created a very special Limited Edition SUB 200 T. Graph Chronograph made from 18kt Rose Gold!
The Limited Edition of 13 Pieces (unlucky for some) boasts a case made from solid 18kt Rose Gold but that’s not all that is special about this Doxa, it also has a special movement.

Housed inside its (43mm in diameter), 200 meter water-resistant 18kt RG case is a NOS (new old stock) Swiss made, hand-wound, Valjoux 7734 with 17 jewels and a beat-rate of 18,000 vph and a power-reserve of 45hrs.
DOXA have meticulously examined, overhauled and reconditioned each and every caliber before putting to bed in its new 18kt RG housing.

Its dial is in a semi-matte orange with black applied indices, and black baton hands, both with Light Old Radium colored SLN.
Special features include: Limited Edition serial number text on its dial between 4 and 5 o’clock and a solid 18kt RG case-back with an engraved sailboat motif.

Diver’s features include: a tough Sapphire crystal and a unidirectional rotational diver’s bezel with Doxa’s hallmark orange accented no-decompression and dive-time scales.
The SUB 200 T. Graph Chrono 130th Anniversary comes on either a 20mm orange rubber diver’s strap with an 18kt Rose Gold buckle or an 18kt RG BOD mesh bracelet.

Thoughts? While the use of 18kt RG might have people divided; I think it was important for Doxa to do something special and unexpected for their 130 year anniversary.
I like it but how ‘bout a poor man’s version, in bronze? What do you think?
It is a joke, isn't It?
