Now into their ninth consecutive year of serial model production, German watchmaker VDB who are primarily a producer of handcrafted watches are about to drop the VDB 2019.
Produced as is typical of the brand in a modest run of just 130 pieces, the new VDB Maritime Diver 2019 will be available in 3 distinct finishes.
From the mirror finish of the Maritime Polished, the utilitarian style of the Maritime Blasted, the stealthy style of the Maritime Black and the golden hues of the Maritime Bronze –
and not forgetting the wildcard, the Maritime Historic, the final look of which is yet to be revealed but includes and aged case and dial finish.
The Maritime Diver 2019 is based on watch case that measures 44mm in diameter by 20mm high with a lug-to-lug distance of 53mm.
The case has a water-resistance of 200m and is equipped with: a diver’s bezel, sapphire crystal, screw-down case-back and crown.
Powering VDB’s Maritime Diver 2019 collection is an ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. Prices start from 1200euro – 2250euro.
