INGERSOLL Scovil Radiolite BRONZE

The Ingersoll Watch Company is one of the oldest American watchmakers. Theodore Roosevelt, Gandhi and Walt Disney are but a few names that have been associated with the brand which dates back to 1892.

Unbeknown to me, Ingersoll had a brand relaunch with a new range of quality, precision timepieces in 2016 of which this, the spiritual successor (if you will) to their famous Radiolite pocket watch was among them.

Introducing, the Scovil Radiolite Automatic I05001 with its retro-styled 43mm by 15mm bronze case.

The watch which is powered by a Japanese Miyota automatic movement is fitted with a domed mineral crystal and a diver’s bezel.

The Scovil Radiolite Bronze is water-resistant to 10 ATM. It comes on a 20mm genuine Horween leather strap and is presented in an old school wooden box with an MSRP of 700USD.

Thoughts? I actually just recently saw one of these in person and was pretty impressed with the overall finish and particularly the bezel action.

They appear to already be sold out online but this doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to find one elsewhere. MSRP is high for what it is but it comes with a lifetime warranty.
