Following the results of a Facebook poll, Bulova have announced that the next release in their Archive Series will be the Devil Diver.
The Devil Diver will be a reissue of Bulova’s 1972 Oceanographer AKA the Devil Diver and will be officially unveiled at Baselworld 2018.
The Devil Diver gets its name from its 666 FEET of water-resistance which is printed on its dial. Unsurprisingly the Devil Diver will be released in a Limited Edition of (you guessed it) 666 pieces.
The 2018 Bulova Devil will come with a black dial and black and red bezel – however an orange dial is also planned. The watches will come on specially designed NATOs.
If you haven’t heard of Bulova’s Archive Series, I can recommend taking a look at their replica of a 1970s Chronograph. It isn’t a diver but it’s one sexy-mofo. Unfortunately it isn’t an auto.
If the 2018 Devil Diver also ends up being a quartz, it will be a bloody crime.
