As part of Kiwi, nautical watch brand, Magette’s 10 year anniversary, they have turned their focus on one of their most special models.
Not only was the Moana Pacific Diver their very first proper diver but it lead the way in terms of the Magrette brand elevating themselves, taking the big step to move to using higher quality components – and they have never looked back!
Today Magrette are New Zealand’s most famous watch brand with a collection that includes the new Moana Pacific Diver II which is available for the first time in two case sizes 42 or 44mm and with two bezel color options for the bezel crisp white or classic yellow.
The Moana Pacific Diver II has a water resistance rating of 500m, a large screw-down signed crown, a scratch-resistant box-shaped Sapphire crystal, and an engraved ceramic bezel inlay.
Powering it is the Caliber STP1-11 automatic movement from Swiss Technology Production SA. This movement along with a new custom winding rotor is visible through a Sapphire crystal case-back.
The Swiss Made Caliber STP1-11 automatic movement boasts hacking seconds, 28800bph, manual winding, Incabloc shock absorption and Nivaflex NM mainspring.
