Tudor haven’t let the grass grow under their feet this year; and one model in particular that hasn’t been allowed to gather any dust is their flagship diver the Heritage Black Bay which in the few short months of 2017 has seen 6 new variants released.
Just recently we saw the smoking hot Black Bay Bronze Blue for BUCHERER and also the Black Bay Black for Orologi PASSIONI with its red dial text in Italian and its (for want for a better word) fugly case-back logo.
Tudor released a further 4 Heritage Black Bay models at Baselworld 2017, two non- divers that included a chrono and two divers; one in STEEL and another in S&G (steel and gold) which has been taken up by Tudor brand ambassador David Beckham.
David Beckham needs little introduction but in case you’ve been living under a rock, the 43 year old ex-England, Manchester United and LA Galaxy footie star, entrepreneur, style icon and philanthropist can be seen wearing the Heritage Black Bay S&G.
The Heritage Black Bay watches are probably Tudor’s best-selling watches among us WIS, but I wonder how much Becks will increase the appeal of the watch among the masses.
I must admit it looks good on the wrist. But, I didn’t need David Beckham to show me what a great looking watch is. What do you think? Want one anymore?
