DAVOSA has released an additional version of the Ternos Professional with a dual-time function.
It seems like this might have just come off the back of the Steinhart Ocean Titanium 500 GMT a few posts down, but in fact the Ternos Pro GMT was a Basel release from earlier this year.
Like the Ocean Titanium 500 GMT, it was also inspired by another well-known Swiss GMT Diver – it has the same beautifully contrasting two-toned black and blue ceramic 24hr bezel inlay.
We’ve also got a lovely blue accent in the form of a GMT pointer. If the blue is al little too much for you – then a second all-black version is also available.
Basic spec. includes: a satin-finished all Stainless steel case measuring 42mm x 15.5mm, an anti-glare Sapphire crystal, a scratch-resistant and two toned ceramic bezel, SLN hands and markers and Swiss ETA2893 automatic movement with second time-zone function.
It has a water-resistant to depths of 200 meters. Prices are as follows: 1298€ (black/blue), 1248€ (black). So what do you think – Ocean Ti 500 GMT or Ternos Pro GMT.
I think the Steinhart has the edge, firstly its Titanium, but it’s a little more youthful – it also has a decorated movement.
