In case you were worried that there was any lack of affordable crowd-funded diver’s watches out there – here’s yet another for your delectation. ;)
Today, I present to you - the Revolution Diver from the same guys that produced the CHARLES RIVER Diver of the Boston Watch Co.
Based in Boston, USA - the Revolution Watch Company’s debut diver is one-of-a-kind dive watch that is said to embody the rugged and independent spirit of the American man. That, I did not know! Lol
Assembled entirely in Boston using fully custom designed parts, including case parts sourced from domestic manufacturers, the Revolution Diver is an automatic dive watch that has been built to pass the test of time in more ways than one!
Not only does it have an appealing classic style but it has been manufactured using a precision cut Stainless steel case that has been milled in the USA on water cooled, 5 Axis CNC machine.
The custom-designed diver features a 120-click diver’s bezel, a domed Sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, and raised hour-markers adding a sense of depth to the dial as well as increasing legibility.
Bright-glowing, Swiss C3 SuperLuminova has been applied to both the hands and hour-markers for improved viewing at depths of up to 300 meters.
While a robust Citizen made, Miyota automatic movement promises accuracy that should last for many generations to come.
Each and every one of the Revolution Diver’s components has been
carefully designed for optimal legibility and durability even under the
toughest of conditions.
As Lifelong watch enthusiasts from Boston, Walter
Schofield and Preston Turk have worked tirelessly to bring affordable
watch manufacturing back to the United States –
while bringing to market what they believe to be a high-end yet affordable divers watch that will appeal to their fellow enthusiasts.
The Revolution Diver will be available for pre-order exclusively on Indiegogo.
