The Aquaracer Lady 300M Quartz – Full Ceramic Ref. WAY1395.BH0716: black and diamond version is part of TAG’s very first collection of watches made entirely from ceramic.
Among its many virtues, ceramic is incredibly hard — yet soft to the touch, is highly scratch-resistant and retains its original color pretty much forever as doesn’t ever oxidize.
It is also hypoallergenic meaning you can wear your watch 24/7 and it won’t react with your skin. It’s only failing is - that if dropped from high enough up and onto a hard enough surface such as a ceramic floor tile it could shatter – end of lovely watch! :(
Divers features of the Aquaracer Lady 300M collection would put most boy’s divers to shame. They include: a uni-directional rotational divers bezel made from steel and black ceramic with diamonds – 60 diamonds (0.27 carats),
silver lacquer engraved numerals with a SuperLuminova dot at 12 o'clock, Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective, scratch-resistant coating, polished black PVD screw-down crown and a screwdown caseback engraved with a deep-sea diving helmet.
Water-resistance is 300 meters, which is pretty impressive for a “lady” diver. Finally the watch is presented on a 3-row bracelet in black with a butterfly clasp with divers safety push-buttons.
