But in what has seemed like the blink of an eye, the Olympics Games is almost upon us and once again Omega are the Official Timekeepers of the games that will be held in Rio de Janerio form the 5th to 25th of August.

In celebration of this auspicious event, a funky new version of the Seamaster Diver 300M will go on sale in a Limited Edition of 3016 pieces.
Special features of the watch include a special patterned dial that is supposed to recalls the wavy mosaics on the sidewalks of Copacabana (spelt it correctly this time!) –a black ceramic bezel inlay with its markers in the four colors of the Olympic rings and a special Rio 2016 engraved caseback with the watch’s LE# / 3016.

Power comes from an Omega coaxial 2500 caliber. MSRP is 4000€. Liked this? Check out the Omega Seamaster BULLHEAD for Rio 2016.

Classic Omega. They should stick within their wheelhouse more often.
