With its 44mm 18-karat rose gold case and rubber divers strap with bold red stripes, the new Diver Chronograph Hammerhead Shark from UN is as regal looking as its name sake is majestic.
The Hammerhead shark with its distinctive hydro-dynamically shaped head, designed for increased agility and panoramic vision, is a formidable hunter;
it is celebrated with a subtle silhouetted hammerhead shark pattern on the watch’s deep blue dial and once again with a bright red shark logo on the 30 minutes counter at 3 o’clock.
The sharks appear to be swimming in a large school in much the same way as Scalloped Hammerheads do in the wild.
The Diver Chronograph Hammerhead Shark is powered by the UN-150 with Silicium escapement and balance spring, a first for the entire UN Diver collection. It has a power-reserve of 48hrs.
An azure rotor with a Hammerhead shark decoration can be seen through the Sapphire crystal caseback.
Further divers features include a screwdown crown, pushers, solid lugs, and unidirectional turning diver bezel with UN’s characteristic wave pattern on its rubber inlay. Water-resistance is 300 meters.
The UN Diver Chronograph Hammerhead Shark is presented as a Limited Edition in both Stainless steel of which there are 300 pieces and 18-karat Rose Gold 5N in a series of just 99 pieces.
