By TLex Here’s a second look at the Hydroscaph GMT POWER-RESERVE Chronometer. in particular the gorgeous –
black DLC-treated steel version that can be fitted with an 18k rose gold bezel with Clerc's hallmark four sloping sides.
With a total of 83 components, the case of the Hydroscaph GMT Power-Reserve Chronometer is one of the most complex there are.
And with its signature system that locks the rotating divers bezel via a second crown at 10 o'clock and a water-resistance of 800 meters -
the watch is more than capable of serving the most demanding of professional divers even with its 18k gold elements.
Its movement is the COSC-certified C610 chronometer caliber that displays a large second time zone in a mother-of-pearl counter at 6 o’clock. Power-reserve is 43 hours.
The rose gold and black DLC-treated case should make a pretty bold statement with its generous 48mm diameter. While its mobile lugs ensure excellent comfort on the wrist.
Beautiful artifact. Perfect size. Powerful aesthetics. And it's still functional. Now that's a watch.
