By TLex Here are a few prototype shots of the new Borealis SEAFARER II, which is deepest divers model yet with a whopping 4000 meters of water-resistance, double that of the first SEAFARER model.
The Seafarer II has a 44mm in diameter by 15.7mm thick 316L Stainless steel case which is home to a reliable Japanese made automatic movement, the Citizen Miyota 9015 caliber. Its lug-to-lug measurement is 53mm, while lug width is 24mm.
The dial, which can be had in; black, blue or grey has Swiss Made BGW9 and C3 SuperLuminova applied hands and markers.
Divers features of the watch include: solid color or two-tone 120-click unidirectional rotational divers bezel with a Sapphire inlay and either BGW9 or C3 lume applied dive-time scale -
a slightly domed Sapphire crystal with AR-coating on its inside and a thickness of 6mm, an automatic Helium Escape Valve and a screwdown crown and caseback with engraved mermaid and 3 Viton Gaskets.
The bezel has a special turbine-style grip that was inspired by Japy Watches. A style also taken up by the H2O Orca, wonder if this will be the start of a turbine trend?.
The Seafarer II 400M will come on a 316L Stainless steel bracelet with precision adjustable divers safety buckle.
If 4000M of water-resistance isn't high deep for you; why not check out some other extreme divers: 5000M, 6000M, 8000M, 12000M, 15000M (?)!
