By TLex Introducing the HAMILTON Khaki Navy Frogman 2016 – lightweight, rugged and with a bit of an aggressive edge! Fronted by world-renowned free diver, Pierre Frolla, each model in the collection is equipped with a chunky crown-protection system, inspired by its 1951 ancestor with its military canteen design.
A tough and sturdy 46mm Titanium case with a water-resistance to 1000 meters/100 bar and a Helium Valve to equal out internal and external pressures during Saturation Diving conditions are sure indicator that the Khaki Navy Frogman 2016 is a serious piece of diving kit.
While the red unidirectional rotational divers bezel that frames the black dial with its luminescent triple-facetted hands ensure excellent readability of dive-time; the red-trimmed tip of the seconds hand highlights its role as an operating indicator - a vital feature of any dive watch!
A solid caseback with a scuba diver motif is a further indication of the watch’s diving intent. A rubber divers strap featuring a special tone-on-tone central section and ribbed exterior ensures a great look and feel!
And last but not least, an H-10 caliber automatic movement with 80-hours of power reserve proves just as useful on land as below the sea.
The 2016 Khaki Navy Frogman watch comes with a dedicated packaging inspired by a typical navy porthole. MSRP is CHF 1395CHF.
In addition, the collection has a 42mm Stainless steel version that can be fitted with a triple-row bracelet secured by a smart adjustment folding clasp, featuring a convenient and stylish diving extension. This model is available in two colors with either a blue or black bezel and color-matching dial and strap. Its MSRP is 1050CHF.
