STUCKX The Bull 1stLOOK

By TLex Stuckx goes Bull’s Deep!

The new 200m Bull from Stuckx is a tribute to the more daring case designs of the 70's that included the iconic sports chronograph watches known as Bull Heads because of their unusual placement of the chronograph pushers on the top of their cases.

Having the crown and pushers on top of the watch case gives the Bull a distinctly sporty yet vintage look.

While The Bull’s appearance is unmistakable, its most striking feature has to be its uniquely styled two-tone polished CNC machined ceramic bezel.

The two-tone theme is repeated with an elegant dial design with contrasting sub-dials at 3 and 9 (12 and 6 for NE88). Stuckx will be offering their usual choice of trendy color combos from the Dutch with its striking orange and black to the cute Panda with its white face and black sub-dials. I think there are a total of 6 variants.

While The Bull’s horseshoe-shaped, 42mm x 13.5 (13mm Quartz) 316L sun-burst finished Stainless steel case has reasonable dimensions, it was designed to sit comfortably on most people’s wrist.

Divers features include: a unidirectional rotational divers bezel, a flat Sapphire crystal and 200 meters of water-resistance.

The Bull will be available in 3 different movement variations: a high-end Seiko/TMI NE-88 mechanical chronograph movement with column wheel and vertical clutch, running at 28.800 bph (top of post with sub-dials at 12 and 6).

And two VK meca-quartz movements; the VK64 with 3 sub-dials and no date and the VK67 with 2 sub-dials and a date.

The mecha-quartz movement designed and manufactured by Seiko combines the best of both worlds. The benefits of a very accurate, high quality quartz movement with the exact mechanical feel of watches from a different price range.

Finally a tri-colored striped 22mm NATO complete The Bull’s look!

Stuckx’s The Bull is being launched through KickStarter. They will receive production samples very soon and we will launch the campaign as soon as possible after having checked the samples and making pics/movie for the campaign.

The Automatic will probably start at 699Euro for true early birds, going up quickly after that, but probably staying below the 1000 dollar mark. A 250 euro early bird price will be offered for both Quartz versions.
