By TLex Here's a new quartz diver from Deep Blue. The Sea Quest Diver 1000 has an AISI 316L Stainless steel case measuring 42mm in diameter by 15mm thick - with an overall length of 48mm and a total weight of 220gm. It is powered by a Seiko VX43 Quartz movement with a bilingual weekday (Eng/Spanish) and date.
Divers features of the Sea Quest 1000 include: a manually operated Helium Escape Valve making it suitable for SAT diving (10 o'clock), a unidirectional rotational divers bezel (40mm), a tough Sapphire crystal, a screwdown crown with triple o-rings and a screwdown caseback with double o-rings allowing for a water-resistance of 1000 meters. The hands and dial markers have been generously filled with super-luminous material. PU band with Deep Blue Logo on buckle
The virtues of the quartz diver are as wide and varied as the genre itself; from accuracy and reliability to affordability, the quartz diver should be a staple of any good dive watch collection, what they might lack in charm and emotion they certainly make up for in accessibility and pure simplicity!
