The new WRV « V » 1977 Automatic Volcano with its Volcano red bezel and seconds indicator creates quite a striking contrast against the matte black dial of the watch in much the same way as molten lava does against solidified black lava.

Halfway between a barrel and a cushion, the 43.8mm 316L surgical steel case of the new 1977 Volcano is finished with a combination of brushed and polished steel surfaces. It is fitted with a unidirectional rotational divers bezel with said, Volcano red aluminum insert.
A 3.9mm thick Sapphire crystal of the type usually reserved for deep divers completes the look. This model has been tested to a water-resistance of up to 200M / 660FT. It complies with ISO 6425 norms for a divers watch.

The WRV Volcano’s crown is positioned at 4 o’clock, which not only gives the watch a pretty neat look, but also helps to protect the crown without overcrowding the case while helping the top of your wrist avoid the crown - greatly increasing comfort.
Powering the watch is an automatic winding mechanical movement, the RTA002® based on ETA 2824-2 with 25 jewels, 28,800 a/h, 4Hz, incablocs and a power-reserve of 44 hours. It comes on a hand-stitched, black calfskin Barenia leather bracelet. MSRP is 1990€.
