ORIS Aquis Depth Gauge DLC

By TLex Oris goes back black into the murky depths with its newest model, the Aquis Depth GAUGE DLC which boasts a black (D)iamond (L)ike (C)arbon coated case with a simple means for measuring depth, which made it the first dive watch able to measure depth by allowing water into it - something that you wouldn't usually want to happen to your dive watch.

DLC and contrasting yellow accents aside, this in every other respect the same watch as the STEEL version, so that's a round 46mm x Stainless steel case (in black DLC) housing an Oris automatic caliber 733 (base Sellita SW 200-1) powered by Oris' famous red rotor and a power-reserve of around 38 hours. Functions include: central hours, minutes and seconds. There's a date window in black at 6 o'clock.

Divers features include: well of course there's the depth gauge itself, but also - a unidirectional rotational divers bezel with a tough ceramic inlay, a screwdown crown and caseback, which are both in DLC and a beautiful yellow rubber divers strap with a black DLC steel folding divers clasp. Water-resistance is 50 ATM, teh equivalent of 500 meters.

The new ORIS Aquis Depth Gauge DLC is delivered in a tough water-proof case along with: a 2nd black rubber strap for those not brave enough to rock the hot yellow strap (just kidding!). There is also a strap changing tool etc. MSRP is 3250CHF
