By TLex H2O Watches have released a gorgeous new version of the ORCA Mono. The avant garde Mono's outer case is made from German sourced Tungum. H2O are the only watch company in the world currently using this material.
For those that aren't au fait with this specialized alloy, Tungum has the aesthetic characteristics of 22 carat gold, but with a similar hardness of steel. It is anti-magnetic and non-sparking, and is well suited to marine environments owing to its high resistance to saltwater. It looks good and its luster is easy to maintain.
Back to the watch - it's inner case, which has a water-resistance of 2000m, even with an exhibition caseback is made from 316L Stainless steel. It measure 44mm in diameter x 17.50mm (incl. crystal) with overall length of 53.20mm. It is fitted with 4mm 'super' dome Sapphire crystal.
The watch is powered by a Swiss made ETA 2892 'high-end' automatic mechanical movement. It is presented on a genuine Horween leather strap with an ORCA Stainless steel buckle. Price is 1500USD.
