By TLex Fashion House, Louis Vuitton are celebrating a decade of watchmaking with the release of two new divers models that will form part of their new Tambour collection with its signature drum-shaped watch cases . . .
The Tambour Diving II Chrono Black is based on a one-of-a-kind watch produced in 2011 for the charity watch auction, ONLY WATCH. Its 45.5mm steel case is has been coated with a sleek black rubber molding. You can't really tell from the one image, but imagine it glistening wet. It's gonna look the part! It has a water-resistance of 300m and is powered by an automatic chronograph movement.
The case features an innovative unidirectional rotational divers bezel that makes use of the Louis Vuitton signature in raised rubber letters for its grip. It sports a glossy black ceramic insert with elapsed dive time. The Tambour Diving II watches are typically characterized by their 'diver-down' red safety flag sub-seconds dial. Some might think it a little cheesy, however the red seems to work well against all the black.
They should call this watch the Louis Vuiton "Tuna Can." I like this watch.
