Not a watch for the faint of heart, a real man’s watch – the CH1 Damast from Helberg combines the looks of a 1950s experimental – deep sea wristwatch with hand-forged, hand-welded Stainless Damascus steel – the result? Well, see for yourself, absolutely unique and stunning! Only a handful of knivesmith are capable of producing this level of quality Stainless Damascus steel; true workmanship is required for nearly all steps of the manufacturing of the CH1 Damast’s watch case. The case design itself a true icon from the last century, an experimental wristwatch – in this instance boasting an impressive 600bar or 6’000 meters of water-resistance – it is topped with a highly polished minimalist, bezel made from Stainless Damascus Steel, which wraps around a massive spherical, double domed Sapphire crystal. In addition to the dramatic case patterns from the folded layers of steel, the unique watch crystal offers rare distortions of the dial from specific angles while allowing close to perfect views from directly above. Powering the CH1 Damast is a reliable Swiss made ETA 2824-2 automatic with a beat-rate of 28’800 bph and a power-reserve of 42hrs. Finally the CH1 Damast which is offered in two finishes Deep Black or High Contrast, will be delivered with an exclusive black handmade leather strap made from German sourced leather. The leather strap will be equipped with Helberg’s CH1 CNC roller-buckle also made from Stainless Damascus Steel.
