After choosing the famous Nautoscaph II AKA The Jaws Watch to revive and lead their rebirth into the 21st Century, Alsta forge onward with the Nautoscaph III and the Surf n Ski.

The Surf n Ski comes closely behind the release of the new Nautoscaph SUPERAUTOMATIC another model that recalls a bygone era of sports and diver’s watches.

The Surf n Ski is rugged outdoors timepiece that was inspired by the late-1960s. Safe from the dial and hands, it is pretty much the same as the HUCKBERRY exclusive Nautoscaph III model.

Like that model its 300m water-resistant, 40mm, Stainless case has been PVD coated and fitted with a K1 mineral crystal and is home to a Seiko NH35A automatic movement.
The new Alsta Surf N Ski is available from Alsta priced 695GBP approx. 910USD - ouch!

Thoughts? These new Alsta models are good looking dive watches that have historical significance. I like ‘em.

They have the potential to be really great but some are sadly afflicted by mineral-itis and all are suffer from lack of Swiss-movement-itis!
