By TLex What's your favorite RM 028 color? Black, yellow, DLC with red, yellow or blue, Rose Gold, Brazilian 'n' Mexican flavors or classic white? The RM 028, which has been color-coded a number of times now to celebrate Richard Mille's various partnerships with yachting events or jewelry stores has been given the color treatment yet again.
This time RM have chosen a classic white and blue color scheme inspired by the glamorous playground of St-Tropez on the French Riviera. I love how RM use color to distinguish each of the RM 028's variants rather than just going with a dull caseback engraving as most do. But feel the best color is still yet to come . . . orange!
From RM With the start of summer, Richard Mille are ready to announce a new edition of the RM 028 divers’ watch, the RM 028 Saint-Tropez, available from official Richard Mille retailers (EMEA region) starting from July. The new RM 028 Saint-Tropez comes as a limited edition of just 10 pieces, its blue-and-white colour palette recalling Saint-Tropez’ glamorous destination and the French Riviera.
The classic white and blue colour-scheme takes direct inspiration from the world of yachting. The RM 028 round titanium case comes on a white rubber strap and features navy-blue numbers for the first quarter. The elegant white-blue colour scheme is similarly applied to outline the datebox at 7.
