It’s been a while since we saw one of these – an EXTático Diver, that is AKA the one with massive saw-tooth bezel!
The Spanish watchmaker has decided to produce a new run of their popular handmade diver’s model in solid CuSn8 bronze.
If you are unfamiliar with EXTático; I highly recommend checking them out because they are one of the only Spanish watchmakers who produce everything in-house.
Everything expect the movements which will also be produced in-house in the near future. Besides this, their watches are sold at a reasonable price-point.
The small family-run watchmakers currently have two models – the JUNTOR and the DIVER.
Going by these renders, this is going to be one very good looking addition. We can expect the same spec. as the previous steel version but with some tweaks.
So that’s: a Sapphire crystal, unidirectional diver’s bezel, 400 meters of water-resistance and a Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement or similar.
We can also expect special features such as EXTático’s in-house manufactured: dial, case components incl. custom rubber divers strap and what’s that I see???
A new solid buckle, just one of the tweaks that have been made to improve the watch such as its more integrated strap design and improved 60-click bezel which has been machined in-house.
