Taking its inspiration from the 1968 Memovox Polaris, the new JLC Polaris Date in steel is equipped with a calendar, either a rubber or steel strap, and is water-resistant to a depth of 200 meters. It brings a welcome contemporary touch to the Grande Maison classic design.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Date is finished in a sporty, casual style, it boasts a delicate case-band integrated with short lugs. The elongated numerals and hour markers, as well as the baton hands, are coated with a luminescent finish.
Basic spec. includes: a 42mm by 13.1mm Stainless steel case which is water-resistance to 20 ATM – (so finally a so called high-end dress diver gest a proper 200m WR!)
Power comes from an automatic, self-winding, Cal. 899A/1 made up of 219 components and with 28800 vph and 32 jewels.
Its case-back bears an engraving of a delicate stylized diving helmet, a nod to the original model that hid this same symbol inside its case.
It is equipped with a tri-folding buckle engraved with the Grande Maison logo, the textured black rubber strap imparts the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Date with a contemporary, sporty look.
