STEINHART Triton 100 ATM TITANIUM

Almost a decade after it was first released, Steinhart’s Triton 100 ATM is back and is better than ever thanks to a new Titanium case construction, a completely rethought dial design and an Elaboré-grade movement.

While the new Triton 100 ATM boasts a Titanium case, Steinhart has thoughtfully retained all those cool features that we loved about the first 100 ATM such as its ‘’100 ATM’’ engraved case side or the orange Helium Escape Valve.

The new has been constructed from aerospace-grade Titanium and has been given a satin finish. The case measures 45mm in diameter with a thickness of 15mm which is .8mm thinner than the original 100 ATM.

I don’t really need to tell you about the benefits of Titanium – but in case you need reminding of its virtues – it is lighter and stronger than steel and is hypoallergenic which means it won’t react with your skin. The new 100 ATM weighs just 144g.

The case is characterized by its new crown-guard that now extends all the way into the bottom lug. This has been fitted with a DLC-coated, 120-clcik Stainless steel divers bezel with a BG W9 SLN-filled dive-time scale.

A flat Sapphire crystal with a double anti-reflective coating on its inside affords an uninterrupted view of the dial with its new layout which has been simplified to allow better readability.

The watch’s ability to read dive-time has been further enhanced by the use of two different lume colors that help to isolate the relevant features such as the minute hand and bezel’s 12hr maker – these are in orange while the hour-markers are in blue.

Further divers features include: a screw-down-crown at 4 o'clock, a solid Stainless steel caseback and 1000 meters of water-resistance.

The case-back has this awesome engraving of Triton the god of the sea with long flowing hair and an impressive amount of facial hair.

Both the case-back and dial sport the new Triton logo which is in a stylish contemporary text. The dial now also has the word ‘’ professional’’ on it.

Powering this deep diving bearded god of the sea is a Swiss made ETA 2824-2 Elaboré automatic movement with 25 jewels and date.

The finishing touch to the Trition 100 ATM is a vintage calfskin leather strap with sporty orange stitching and a Titanium buckle which is attached to the lugs via massive hex-screws.

Its price is EUR 650- incl. VAT. Follow the link embedded, below to order yours.
