H2O Watch Kalmar II CARBON

Something carbon this way comes! H2O Watches has its eye firmly fixed on the future with a remarkable new high-tech case material that has been used for the Kalmar II Carbon.

Carbon is a composite material based on carbon fiber that is almost unheard in this segment of the watch market; especially not with this level of quality. It has previously only been used by upper echelon brands such as Audmers Piguet and Officine Panerai et al.

As well as providing exceptional technical performance, the Carbon used by H2O has an uneven, matte black appearance, which when cut results in an example that is utterly unique – just as you might see if you were to cut through a piece of fine wood exposing the grain. This is accentuated by the use of H2O’s turbine-style bezel.

This means that each and every new Kalmar II Carbon will be unique and different from the others thanks to the technical and aesthetic characteristics of its Carbon case, which has been made from a high-tech composite material that is making its debut in the boutique collectors market with H2O Watches.

The structure of the high-tech Carbon material used by H2O has been engineered to enhance both the aesthetics and the performance of the material. It has been used to make the case and the unidirectional rotational divers bezel of the Klamar II Carbon.

The physical properties of Carbon are much higher than those of similar materials or of other materials used in the world of watch-making, such as Ceramic or Titanium: Carbon is lighter than these and is much more saltwater corrosion-resistant, as well as this it is also hypoallergenic.

While the Kalamar II Carbon’s case material might be futuristic, every other design detail of the watch has been faithfully inspired by H2O Watches most popular divers models - that is except for one other brand-new innovation used for the one of the many dial configurations that are available –

the one that looks a little like shark teeth. The reason that these markers are so unusual in their appearance is no accident – they are applied with dual-colored lume; most likely an industry, first.

If this new high-tech Klamar II hadn’t already got your attention then how about this – H2O Watches are, also offering an optional full-Carbon bracelet for the Kalamar II Carbon. Just think of the sheer work and effort that must have gone into producing it, not to mention the expense. It’s another industry first for H2O.
