DOXA SUB 1200T [NEW modern SUB with deep roots]

By TLex This gorgeous looking blue DOXA is the SUB 1200T Caribbean, one of three variants of DOXA’s new vintage SUB 1200T series, the first SUB since Doxa started making re-editions in 2002.

The SUB 1200T Professional is constructed from a single block of Stainless steel, with a depth rating of 1200 meters (3937 feet), and is equipped with an integrated (automatic) Helium Release Valve (HRV).

DOXA actually released the first Helium Release Valve (HRV) equipped dive watch that was available to non professional divers as far back as 1969.

This legendary diver was known as the SUB 300T Conquistador, which DOXA paid tribute to in 2010 with their ground-breaking model the SUB 1200T, so it is natural the latest generation of SUB 1200T also be equipped with this feature.

The 1200T recalls the look and feel of the original SUB 300T Conquistador, only with the high quality and reliability of a modern DOXA SUB.

At a tad over 42mm in diameter, the DOXA SUB 1200T Professional should accommodate most wrists while retaining more than enough wrist presence. It will be perfect for anyone looking for a more traditional, smaller sized DOXA SUB.

The 1200T boasts a solid 120-tooth, unidirectional, Stainless steel bezel with a metric scale. In addition, the bracelet has been engineered to be thicker and more substantial than previous versions with solid end-links.

It is 100% Swiss-made, has a high grade 25 jewel self-winding Swiss made movement with hacking seconds, 28800 beats per hour, 42 hour power reserve, based upon the ETA 2824-2, decorated by DOXA -

like the original, DOXA’s patented no-decompression dive table bezel (US Patent N. 3505808) is standard. The Caribbean's two stable mates are the SUB 1200T Professional in traditional DOXA orange, and the black dial Sharkhunter.
