STOWA Seatime PRODIVE

By TLex Here's a fantastic German watchmaker that I haven't nearly paid enough attention to over the years, but they finally have something new to discuss regarding their diver, the Seatime Prodive, which has just become available again for pre-order along with two new dial colors; lime green and tangerine; as well as a new lime green handset making a total of 10 variants to choose from.




The Prodive's case is in Stainless steel with its mid-case and caseback in a fine matte sand-blasted finish (hand-grinded). Divers features inc: a 'STOWA' signed Stainless steel screwdown crown and caseback, a domed Sapphire crystal, a unidirectional divers bezel with aluminum inlay + dive-time scale, an HEV (9 o'clock) and a water-resistance to 1000 meters / 100atm.




The Prodive is powered by a Swiss made ETA 2836-2 automatic movement with: 25 jewels, 28,000 vph and a power-reserve of 40hrs (approx). Finishing includes: Rhodium coating, blued screws and golden STOWA engraved rotor. Functions inc: hours, minutes and central seconds complication and day-date function.



Its dial is with C3 SuperLuminova printed markers and hands, guaranteeing excellent legibility at night or underwater. Dimensions include: 42mm in diameter x 15.6 mm thick with a lug to lug measurement of 50.3mm and a lug-width of 22mm.



The Prodive can be customized with either a rubber divers strap (black or colored) or a hand-stitched leather band to suit personal taste. Its price is 1060euro (inc. VAT) or 890 (exc. VAT). Expected delivery time will be mid October 2014. Follow the link HERE for more info.
